Training during a pandemic: COS Eagles are getting it done
While there may be no games until at least next year due to COVID-19, that does not mean athletes aren’t already preparing for the season. Things were bustling at College of the Siskiyous in Weed on Thursday as athletes took to the outdoors to train on a beautiful - although fairly warm - day.
Siskiyou supervisors select Jeremiah LaRue as new Siskiyou County Sheriff
In a surprise move, Siskiyou County Supervisors selected Sheriff’s Lieutenant Jeremiah LaRue to replace Jon Lopey as the county's top lawman.

COS Board of Trustees Monthly Meeting
The Siskiyou Joint Community College District Board of Trustees will be holding a public hearing to receive public comment, input, or questions on the proposed final budget for the 2020/2021 fiscal year. The public hearing will be held during the District’s regular Board meeting on October 20, 2020 at 6 p.m. Due to physical distancing and gathering restrictions, members of the Board of Trustees will meet physically at the Weed Campus Board Room (800 College Avenue, Weed) and the Public will attend via Zoom using the meeting information provided.
